The Jets had a perfect second preseason game, starting with an opening touchdown drive led by Geno Smith. The offense looked professional and poised under Geno’s command as he spread the ball to many different receivers. Garrett Wilson and AD Mitchell seem to finally have competent quarterback play. Rookie pass rusher David Bailey led the defense by earning the first sack of his promising career. All levels of the defense played perfectly, allowing zero points, and the offense put up 17 points in a game that demonstrated what the Jets could be.
