The Mets have come out of the All-Star break with a decent series win against a division rival. Nolan McLean dominated to capture the series against the Phillies by throwing six scoreless innings. The offense carried its weight in the two victories, which was a nice surprise. The upcoming schedule is the second-hardest in the league, so the series win was a nice taste of victory that might not come again.
