The Mets have had an up and down week. It started with a series loss to the Reds which continued the downturn of a five game  losing streak. The series sweep of the Marlins was a good change of pace. It was revenge as they were swept by the Marlins the prior weekend. This weekend’s Mets sweep was an offensive rout fueled by a balanced offense as every aspect of the lineup contributed. A four game winning streak must continue as the Mets head west toward Seattle and San Diego.
