Jets Choke

Week two of the regular season was a  heartbreaking one for the Jets, as they lost against the Packers. They had a 17-7 lead in the fourth quarter and lost 20-17 in overtime. Short yardage plays late in the game were the decider. There were two chances to pick up a crucial first down when tied and bad playcalling led to the inability to pick up two yards. Play calling both defensively and offensively  was another decider in the game. Defensively, they let up too many big penalties on ticky tack plays. The defense also had many fumbles forced, but couldn’t fall on top of a majority of them. Ultimately, the Jets have to be more effective in crucial late game plays and today they weren’t.
