The Mets have swept the Tigers, and it was fueled by the “Baby Mets”. Rookies Carson Benge and the recently called-up A.J. Ewing, both of whom had big a series. Benge had the walk-off hit on Wednesday, which scored Ewing. The wins on Tuesday and today were fueled by Ewing, who had RBIs in both games, including hitting his first home run in today’s game. Hopefully, Benge and Ewing can keep up the momentum in this weekend’s Subway Series.
