The Mets are NLDS Bound

The Mets have won the wild card series against the Brewers. They move onto play the Phillies in the NLDS. Pete Alonso had his best moment as a Met when he hit a three run home run to give the Mets the lead in the ninth inning last night. Fransisco Lindor gave Alonso the chance by having a leadoff walk against a one of the top closers in the game. Alonso woke up from a weeks long slump. Games one and three of the series were amazing wins. The entire team has a great vibe which gives me some hope for them to beat the Phillies. The Mets are underdogs and are ready to win at any cost. Game three yesterday showed us fans that we need to have faith in this team.

  1. Hi Ethan,

I only have one comment. Alonso’s slump, in my opinion, has been season long and punctuated by many strikeouts. A pity.

    Love,
