The Mets have split a two games series in London against the Phillies. The first game was a blowout by the Phillies. The game today was the opposite. It was close in every inning. The Mets rallied from behind twice. The 9th inning was a inning of ups and downs. The Mets took the lead in the top half and in the bottom half the Phillies almost had a walk off. But it didn’t happen. It was a win for the Mets, but it was a nervous win saved a great play by Luis Torrens. The Mets return to Queens on Tuesday to play the Marlins. I would love a three game sweep to carry over the positive energy.
