Yesterday the Mets top pitching prospect Christian Scott made his MLB debut. He was very good except in the first inning. He only gave up 1 run. He is a heavy strikeout pitcher. His fastball and sweeper are overwhelming. He reminds me of former Met Zach Wheeler. Both are tall and have a similar windup. I really like his pitch mix. He can be a number 2 starter over the years. The Mets have at least one bright spot in their rotation. Now if they can just get some offense.
