Disappointing Mets

A frustrating week for the Mets has come to an end, and both the offense and pitching struggled. The week began with a series loss to the Diamondback which started off good with a Ronny Mauricio walk off win. The bats went cold for the next two games, despite a Nolan McLean masterclass in the last game. The series against the Athletics was more of the same. It was a series sweep  in which the bats hit decently but the pitching couldn’t hold up. The Mets now head west for a big series against the defending champion Dodgers, looking for a big series win.
