The Jets will have the second overall pick in this year’s draft and are left with a quandary at the quarterback position. The projected second pick in Oregon’s Dante Moore had a rough game in his matchup with the projected first pick, Fernando Mendoza of Indiana. Moore is a young prospect who still has to decide whether he will even be drafted this year, as he has not declared yet. The Jets are out of the race for the talented Mendoza and are left with the uncertainty of Moore. That uncertainty, however, will work itself out by the time of the draft and leave the Jets with a clearer vision in their hope of finding a long-term answer at quarterback.
