Upward momentum appears to be coming the Mets’ way, as they are winners of two straight games. Top pitching prospect Nolan McLean was the apparent spark when he made his MLB debut on Saturday. McLean had a great debut by allowing no runs in his five innings of work. The offense appears to be back in the groove as they powered the Mets to a win in last night’s 7-3 game over the Mariners. Hopefully, the influx of McLean’s youth can propel the Mets to extend their wild-card lead.
