Star wide receiver Garrett Wilson and the New York Jets have reached agreement on a four year contract extension worth $90 million in guaranteed money. The extension will ensure that Garrett will be a Jet until the 2030 season. This is an impressive move, as it secures a homegrown offensive star, a rarity in the history of the Jets. The stardom of Garrett has been seen ever since he was drafted in 2022. In all of his first three seasons, he has caught over 1000 yards. The Jets have locked up one of their two star players from the 2022 draft, now the attention swings to the bid to extend cornerback Sauce Gardner.
