The Mets did what good teams do by taking care of business in their two series’ this week. They first won two out of three games against the White Sox and then over the weekend swept the Rockies. The pitching staff continued its season long dominance by not allowing  more than four runs in all of their wins. The two series wins allowed the Mets to recapture the division lead over the Phillies. I hope that the division lead is able to  be kept or at least the Mets are able to keep pace with the Phillies over the next few months as the trade deadline comes closer into view.
