The Mets are sustaining their success as they are now winners of four straight series in a row. The last two series wins came this week and both were two games to one. The glue to the series wins has been their pitching. The dominance of the bullpen has been a good surprise as nobody had lofty expectations for the unit when coming out of spring training. The hitting has been the opposite from dominant. Consistency has been lacking as the Mets went from scoring ten runs in one game to being shutout in the next. The Mets did score eight runs in their win today, so I hope they can keep it up tomorrow and in the next two games against the Minnesota Twins.
