The Mets are winners of four straight games, culminating today with a three-game series sweep against the Toronto Blue Jays. I was proven right, as both Pete Alonso and Fransisco Lindor have broken out of their cold streaks and are on a tear right now. Alonso’s homerun power  propelled the Mets in two out of the four victories. Lindor’s timely hitting has shown up in all four wins, most in Saturday’s win as he had the walk off RBI. The biggest factor in the winning streak is the pitching. Mets pitchers only allowed three runs in the Blue Jays series. The bullpen picked up the slack the most as pitchers such as Max Kranick and Reed Garrett shined in tough situations. The Mets so far are a team with good vibes and grit, I hope both can last for the whole season.
