The Devils are in the midst of a rough patch. They have lost four games in a row and have only earned two points In those games. This stretch has made them lose first place in the conference. The gap between first place and them is wide too. The biggest issues have been their offense and end of game scenarios. The offense has been dormant in the first and third period. The type of shots they are getting aren’t good. They struggle getting shots near the goal which are the shots that put the most pressure on the other team. In the two games the Devils could’ve won they didn’t because of how they preformed in overtime. Missed shots and bad defensive luck caused the overtime losses. The Devils next game is Wednesday and even though the Devils are in a good position in the standings it is a must win for the confidence of this team.
