Sack Exchange Documentary

ESPN aired their newest 30 For 30 documentary on the New York Jets 1980s star defensive players. It was a fascinating documentary because before watching it I knew close to nothing about the Jets during the 1980s. The team in the early 1980s made the playoffs in back to back seasons and in both playoffs they lost heartbreaking games. The success came from four star defensive line players who were nicknamed, “The Sack Exchange”. The documentary main focus was on Mark Gastineau. Mark was portrayed as a diva and a selfish person to me. His teammates said he was only focused on his sacks and had too much off the field drama. After watching the documentary I can see that the 1980s Jets were a great team but they weren’t clutch and had off the field drama that limited them.
