As November hits its mid-point this is the usual time where MLB free agency and potential trades begin as rumors. And there already are plenty about the Mets. The biggest rumors have been about free agents Juan Soto, Corbin Burnes and Willy Adames. I am against signing Soto and Adames. Soto is great and Adames is good but the positions and money are not a fit for me. I am open to Burnes since he’s a proven pitcher and the Mets need one on their current roster. Another proven pitcher that the Mets have been linked to is Garrett Crochet of the White Sox. This time it is a trade rumor. Crochet is a pitcher I am open to, but the trade needs to have certain players. I am willing to trade Jett Williams and Christian Scott. All of these options fall to David Stearns who I trust.
