Unfortunately, the 2024 Mets season is over. It was a wild and great season. The team was resilient and hard-nosed. Key players who made this team that way were Fransisco Lindor, Mark Vientos, Pete Alonso, Jose Iglesias and Sean Manea. Players like Jesse Winker and Starling Marte showed up clutch as well. First year manager Carlos Mendoza kept the team focused and gritty. He should be proud for his work and effort. As a fan I am also proud of this team. I could argue that this season was better than the 2015 team which went to the World Series. The past is in the past and the future in 2025 and beyond looks promising.
