The Mets enter a three game series with the worst team in baseball, the Chicago White Sox. The White Sox are on pace to have the worst record for any team in history and ironically that is held by the 1962 Mets. It is a series where the Mets must win all three games. They are currently three games behind for the last wild card spot. The team they”re chasing is the Atlanta Braves. The Braves are in a four game series against a the division leading Phillies. The Mets got to a three game deficit when the Braves lost last night to the Phillies in heartbreaking for them — not me. The Mets have a chance to be in a more favorable position by Monday.
